Information For Reviewers
The Editorial Team of SOCRATES Journal invites you to join as a reviewer and contribute to maintaining the high standards of academic integrity. Reviewers play a crucial role in ensuring the quality of the journal through the evaluation of manuscripts and by offering valuable feedback to editors and authors.
If you wish to become a reviewer for SOCRATES Journal, please register through our online submission and peer review system. While registering, please ensure you click the checkbox labeled Yes, I would like to be contacted with requests to review submissions to this journal. If you already have an account with the SOCRATES Journal as an author or reader, please log in to your account. Once logged in, you will be directed to your user dashboard. Navigate to the upper right-hand corner of the page, click on the person icon, and select “Edit Profile” from the drop-down menu. On the profile page, go to the “Roles” tab. Select the checkbox beside “Reviewer,” enter your reviewing interests, and save. It is important to ensure that your reviewing interests are entered accurately, allowing our Editors to match you with suitable submissions.
The manuscript submission and review process involve the following steps:
- The author submits a manuscript.
- The Editors conduct an initial assessment and an internal review to determine suitability for Double-Blinded External peer review.
- If deemed suitable, the manuscript is assigned to External reviewers.
- Reviewers evaluate the manuscript and provide feedback.
- The Editors review the feedback and make a decision.
