Correction and Retraction Policy
SOCRATES Journal is committed to ensuring the integrity and accuracy of published research. If errors are identified in published articles, the journal will take appropriate action after consulting with the editor(s), author(s), and, if necessary, the author(s)’ institution(s).
Corrections:
Corrigendum: Errors made by the authors, such as data inaccuracies, minor text errors, or missing information, can be corrected by issuing a corrigendum.
Erratum: Errors introduced by the publisher, like layout mistakes or technical inaccuracies, will be corrected through an erratum.
Retractions and Declarations of Concern
If significant inaccuracies or instances of misconduct are discovered that impact the conclusions of the article, a retraction or declaration of concern may be necessary. SOCRATES Journal follows the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) guidelines for handling retractions to maintain ethical standards and transparency in scholarly publishing.
